CCD News

Registration forms for the 2019/2020 CCD year are located near the TV in the Parish Hall. Forms may be filled out and returned in the envelope provided.

Help needed: At this time, we do not have enough teachers for our classes. Without volunteers, some of our students will need to attend other parishes this year. Please prayerfully consider helping our program. Any confirmed youth or adult may volunteer. No teaching experience is required and all materials are supplied.

Also needed is a director for our program. This person organizes and helps our program, but does not have to teach a class. Without new volunteers this year, our program cannot continue. Please consider God’s calling for this vocation

St. Teresa Youth Coalition News

We are in need of a few volunteers to be our Second Adult at our meetings beginning in September 2019. We can divide days up or if one of you wants to be full time, that’s great too. You need to be Confirmed and at least 18 years of age. We meet on Sunday evenings from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Without a second adult/chaperone, we cannot have a youth group. Please contact Alan Capasso at 937-459-4432 (day phone), if interested.

2020 Confirmation Prep: If you are 12- 18 years old and have not yet been confirmed, we invite you to prepare for and to participate in the rite in which you are awarded full acceptance into the Catholic Church, where you receive a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Through Confirmation, the Holy Spirit gives you an increased ability to practice your Catholic faith in every aspect of your life and to witness to Christ in every situation - this is why those Confirmed are often referred to as Soldiers for Christ. This sacrament is called Confirmation because the faith given in Baptism is now confirmed and made strong. Sign up sheets are in the annex, as well as near the church entrance
.

Ongoing Service Project: Our youth
have decided that “Jesus deserves better than artificial flowers.”  If you would like to help, they are looking for any and all donations to keep fresh flowers in the sanctuary. Thank you!

WELCOME TO ST. TERESA CHURCH OF THE INFANT JESUS...

Where Friendly People Join to Worship...
St. Teresa is a guide to the Catholic faith for many families in Covington, Piqua, Troy, and surrounding communities. Our church is an extension of our family; a place where everyone knows your name. Along with celebrating Mass every week, our church enjoys frequent social gatherings such as our summer picnic and sports leagues for softball and volleyball, which are all open to the community.

We welcome all to come and experience the Catholic faith with us!
